What is an MVP and how to validate your business idea in 2021?

2021 has to be a good start, that’s why at Scrummers today we want to tell you what an MVP is and how to validate your business idea.

We have seen many times that people have incredible ideas in mind, they want to make them concrete now and they have not considered if it will work in the market. This is a very common mistake, we all want to see the final result of what we dream of, but the only way to make it perfect is by validating it beforehand.

And how do we validate our idea?

This is where our MVP or Minimum Viable Product comes in, which in a nutshell means and according to the definition of expert Eric Rise is “a partial version of a product-oriented to quickly discovering what the customer is asking for, using the least effort possible”.

""MVP is a partial version of a product-oriented to quickly discovering what the customer is asking for, using the least effort possible" - Eric Rise

So we can quickly discover that the MVP has some objectives that will help us define if our idea has viability, these are

  • Develop only the core business, for example, if your company is Uber, what you must develop to test your idea is, a map to geolocate the user and allow the application of the service, nothing else.
  • Knowing your user and creating relationships, since you have managed to connect with your potential users/clients, you can know through metrics and even from their own experiences, what they need and what they don’t.

Allow for clear and efficient metrics before making decisions, eagerness is not the best friend of ideas and keep these tips in mind.

Thanks to our agile methodology, at Scrummers we can develop your MVP and the final product in such a way that all objectives are met, knowing every feedback and need you to have for your idea. We do our best to get the best product for you and your users.
